- Be a responsible, polite, upstanding citizen—it's contagious!!
- Learn to play a musical instrument or learn about music—it is a gift that anyone who knows music, knows how to really appreciate it
- Be yourself, not what others want you to be
- Learn a foreign language or sign language
- Do well in school even if your friends don't approve—it will get you much further in life
- Register to vote
- Most importantly, live every day as if it was your first, and your last—none of us are guaranteed a tomorrow!
